What is DAS?
DAS (Data Acquisition System or Data Access Software) is a technology used in PV and EV installations to monitor and collect real-time performance data. It helps track energy generation, system efficiency, and detect faults, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance planning.
The goal of a DAS is to connect devices together through a backend system. The backend system then collects that information and organizes it in a way that is useful to the end user, in such was like graphs (ex. consumption vs generation) timelines (ex. energy usage vs times of day), and/or status indicators (ex. solar panels online/offline status).
